Dedication to Our Children and Teens
We, the Regional Consultants
for the Eastern Region of Unity Churches,
dedicate our lives to the purpose of spiritually
educating our children and teens, as well as all
those who minister to them in our churches. It
is an honor to serve all of our ministries and
we strive to do so with integrity, authenticity
and joy! Myrtle Fillmore,
Co-founder of Unity, has set the model for
us, and this is expressed in her words: |

is not to entertain the children but
to call them out. To be always
entertained is to be dwarfed and
dependent. To be ‘called out’ is to
follow the harmonious law of the
soul’s unfoldment. Who meddles with
the rosebud? What fingers are deft
enough to pry open that marvel of
folded beauty? We are wise enough to
leave it alone to follow the glad
law of its own unfolding. But our
children! Have we dealt as wisely
with these buds of marvelous
possibilities? Have we always
remembered that they too, must
quicken and unfold through the
innate law of their own genius?” |

appointment. Our prayers are that something you
find on this site will resonate with your life
work. We hope it will inspire you to action and
you will find the role you are to play in this
divine plan.
We believe that the time has come when we have
the conscious awareness that our children are
our most precious commodity, and that every
individual on this planet is a part of this
divine plan. We are one—we are a family—these
are our children. May we ask ourselves, as
Myrtle once did, “Who will take care of our
children?” And may we find that we all have a
part to play.
We invite you to take time and explore this site
and we welcome your input, ideas, and
suggestions. If there is an article, project,
prayer, story, or lesson that you think would
add to the content, please submit it to us for
consideration. Together we are building a web of
ideas that will under gird this purpose. Thank
